VP of Acquisitions VP of Acquisitions Department: Acquisitions Location: NYC Salary: 150k base with 50k potential bonus (Benefits) Real estate private equity fund is currently seeking a Senior Associate or VP level candidate to join its acquisitions group. The ideal candidate must have deep and active relationships with sellers, brokers and other real estate professionals to generate immediate deal flow. Further, the candidate should have direct experience with an entrepreneurial real estate firm in the area of acquisitions, a minimum of 3 to 5 years of real estate industry experience and possess strong management capabilities. DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: • Immediately generate viable deal flow • Develop and manage relationships with market participants • Manage and close investment transactions, including working with legal and professional advisors • Extensive investment due diligence, including on-site visits (travel required) • Prepare concise presentations for the firm’s investment committee • Support ongoing asset management of investments and asset valuation analysis • Undertake financial analyses, including preparing models REQUIREMENTS: • Undergraduate degree required • MBA from top school preferred • Minimum 3 to 5 years of real estate industry experience required • Strong networking and presentation skills required • Travel required • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to develop and manage relationships, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and self-manage • Direct acquisitions and deal sourcing experience required • Fluent in ARGUS and Excel
